Needed something for a guest who was stopping by for a day or two the most. I ordered the Full size and it's about 7" placed on carpeted floor. I tested it to make sure I wouldn't hear any complaints about soreness. I woke up feeling well rested, no constant tossing and turning to get comfortable. I would recommend getting the Queen size, and have a buddy come help lift it if your going up stairs. The FedEx lady was glad I was home to receive this mattress, should couldn't lift it.
