Granted, I buy a lot of things from China. Electronic parts, different crafting materials- Even bare metal for casting. Most of the time, I have zero complaints.
This product, however, was welded together by five year olds. Lumpy, almost sharp welds all around. If they weren't painted over, I would have lost a few layers of skin.
The first item I took out of Box 1/2 was damaged. Dents up and down the arm rest. Dents up the support bars on the sides.
The plastic caps were all broken, and there were gashes in the pain on the legs, where rust was starting to form. Dust from some other product that clearly was not the futon (as it was dark red) all over the leg. - The rests are inside a plastic bag, with no visible damage, which leads me to believe this damage occurred in the factory. Crappy quality control.
That's just on Part 1/2 out of box 1/2. I'm afraid to open box 2/2.

The pieces are not labeled, it is impossible to put it together even with the directions because the pieces only differ slightly and the directions don't describe them, just say piece A, etc. There are dents and scratches on just about every piece, and one of the hinges is completely rusty and wont move. Very disappointed with this product, thought I would get a better quality for the money I spent. Want to return it, but packing it up and shipping it back is a hassle, but probably the only option.
