The quality for the price can't be beat. However, make sure you read the dimensions as it is very low to the ground, even lower when used as a bed. Also, there are no legs to support the bed ends when unfolded so it just drops to the floor- unlike the picture which shows silver legs. It is very hard, not comfortable for everyday sleeping, but it is a good quality product that looks like it will last some time. For the ocassional overnight guest--put an air matress on top and it would be great!

My husband and I bought this sofa last year and have been happy with it so far. I have a chronic back problem that makes sitting in a chair difficult, especially at the end of the day. We needed a piece of furniture that could extend into a bed on one side (for me) and serve as a chair on the other (for my husband). We had looked at various types of sectional sofas and sofa beds but nothing suited our needs. We finally found something we liked at a high-end furniture store. It had a design very similar to the Baxter couch, but was made of better materials and it had more features. We would have bought it but its $7,000 price was a bit too steep. I looked on-line and found this sofa at Amazon. It was very similar to the one we had seen. The price was right so we bought it. The sofa does just what we needed it to do.
