The welds holding the metal mesh together on the bottom of the frame have begun to break after little more than two months of use. The matress is also very thin and after two months of use has become very uncomfortable as the frame can easily be felt through it.
I wouldn't take another if it was given free to me, so don't blow any money on this garbage. 31 of 31 people found the following review helpful: This review is from: Mali Flex Futon - Coal/ Gray (Kitchen) The supports for the seat cushion are flimsy wood with rubber joints. I have had to reinforce every one of them with bloody duct tape before I dared let company sit on. Two adults will break right through it! 24 of 24 people found the following review helpful: By swm248 (Atlanta, GA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Mali Flex Futon - Coal/ Gray (Kitchen) I've had my futon a little over two months and was very happy with it initially until one day two of the wooden slats which are all held in place with plastic fell apart (and I only weigh 100lbs). I tried everything to fix the problem to no avail. So considering it only lasted a few months, it really is not worth the money at all. The price is cheap but so is the quality. For what it will cost me to replace this one, I could've bought a much better quality futon without the disappointment and aggravation. |
