It took me 3 months to decide on a mattress, and i was going from this, to the moonshadow unsure of which to buy, if your going to use this futon as a couch on a daily basis, you found your mattress, everyone who has sat on it have made exclimations at how comfortable it was, make sure you air it out before u use it tho. Otis specializes in futons, and if your looking for an otis luxury, it is difficult to find a better deal. and you wont find a better deal anywhere else with the type of item security you get from amazon. anyways, this bed is 12 times better than the innerspring i switched from, and the 10 year manufacturers warrenty does not hurt either, the bed arrived within a week, and was in good condition, the bed itself was made in the factory about a month before i recieved it, so that would account for the smell... anyways, i did alot of research before i made my decision, so heres another tip, if your looking for a cheap frame, that still looks good, google room doctor, the...Read more

I was surprised by just how fast the futon mattress arrived (within a few short days.) It was well packaged. There was no odor whatsoever, so it didn't need to air out.
This is not the "mother-in-law mattress" people joke about that makes 'em want to cut the visit short. It doesn't feel like you're sitting or sleeping on the floor and doesn't cut off circulation like other futon mattresses.
Great quality futon made by a company that knows their business!
If only every retail experience was like this one!
