This futon was going to go into the spare room (game room for our kids) and used as a bed for company.
It is so incredibly hard to even sit on!
So we made it into a bed and I layed down to check it out. Hard as a rock. I am 5 feet tall and I certainly feel it is not long enough at all. My head at the top and my toes can touch the bottom when I flex them down. A little scary.
Also, because it is hard we bought some foam egg crate bed toppers to put on top. However, the way this bed is constructed you cannot put a sheet on it. The sheet hooks into the back part of the bed, but along the front there is nowhere for the sheet to grip, so it slips right off. They may want to reconsider this design a bit.
As a seat for the kids to sit and play video games and watch TV, no problem. It's very good.
But for anyone weighing more than 100 lbs this isn't a very comfortable item.
