Dorel Home Products 3163 196 Belle Revolution Convertible Sleeper Futon, White

Aside from our guest bedroom, I have another small craft or "reading room" in a modern house. We often need another sleep space for a guest and I didn't want to spend a lot. This convertible sofa fits the bill and looks very neat/chic in a minimalist way.

For the price, I wasn't expecting much but it's very chic looking and I'm very pleased with the purchase. I have a super expensive leather sofa that I bought from Macy's and this purchase makes me re-think that madness!! I haven't slept on it to see how comfortable it is so it may need a mattress covering like one of the other reviewers said. I did a good amount of research before making this purchase and was concerned that white might be hard to keep but glad I took the risk. It it in our spare room and mainly for guests so it's great that it serves as a sofa when I don't have people staying over.

Let me start out by saying this futon LOOKS great! Looks like a much higher ticket item than it is.

But its just not that comfortable for me as a sofa.
I'm about 6'1" and the seat part is just too short. Its also pitched a little forward instead of back, so you feel like you're rolling out of the couch so to speak.
My back is aching a bit from watching TV last night for a couple hours.

I would have given this 3.5 stars just on its looks but I wasn't able.

I just can't recommend anyone thats tall to buy this.
