The black futon is soft and comfortable. It looks great while in lay down mode. However, it is very hard to fold into couch position, I'm still working with it. I put a cover over it, so it can be easily washed. Over all I am very satisfied with this item, and I would recommend it for anyone who plans to have the futon in lay down mode most of the time.

I don't like the plastic tab/button-like things all over it but otherwise it's a good mattress. My boyfriend's daughter (the one who sleeps on it likes it & I bought a cover so you can't see the tab things.
