The Tahoe full size futon set with innerspring mattress features rustic lodge pole design. The arms, seat and back are constructed of solid pine for increased durability and longer mattress life. The finish is a multi-step rustic stain with a lacquered top coat to preserve the beauty of the wood. An EZ-Glide mechanism is used, which provides a quick and reliable way to convert the sofa into a bed. The upholstery grade fabric is machine tufted onto the innerspring mattress , which gives the futon a "sofa-like" appearance. The fabric is durable, breathable and easy to clean. The full size innerspring mattress is constructed of 13 gauge springs with a 272 coil count for support and durability. The springs are supported with high density foam layers with natural blended batted cotton for maximum comfort. The mattress includes two matching 22" pillows.

First time ordering something from Amazon with free shipping that is delivered not by UPS/FedEx/USPS. The 200 pound item was freighted to our door step by CEVA .. excellent service.

Although the item is advertised as "made in the USA" .. it is a bit misleading. The frame is made in China but the futon mattress and pillows are made in the USA.

All of the frame parts were milled properly and assembled together without a hitch. A second person during assembly would have been helpful. The mattress is comfortable (at least in sitting mode until guests arrive).

The frame is held together with barrel bolts and wood dowels. Hope that is strong enough. Mortar & tenon joints would have been preferred .. but, alas, we live in a mass produced society. Also, wood plugs for the holes holding the barrel bolts would be nice.

Overall, good product (or, until the first guest sleeper complains).
