The things that please me about this mattress include: 1. Made in USA 2. Very firm 3. Reasonable price in the hundred and a half range My only complaint is that it comes wrapped tightly in plastic, sort of like a carpet roll, and once you tear into it, the "factory fresh" smell will bowl you over. If you're at all sensitive. This mattress needs a few days in the sun to air out before it's tolerable to mortals, and even then a good cover should be used with it to reduce the volatile odors from coming out. I'm not sure what they made it out of, but it's definitely not flowers and sunshine. If you have asthma or other sensitivities to odor, be sure to give this plenty of time in the sun and wind before you will find it possible to sleep on.
