Live and let live. Inspired by the idea that space-saving furniture can be versatile, stylish and fashion-forward, we would like to introduce the X Factor. The X Factor boasts contemporary appeal with its lightweight metal silver frame, but maintains a modern feel with the colored cotton mattress. Easily convert the X Factor into a twin sized bed with the simple movement of a bar and legs. Get this: the conversion from bed to sofa is just as simple!
I got this bed about six months ago because I needed a small bed for an unfurnished apartment. It was small, easy to assemble, fit me pretty perfectly, and could be made into a chair if I needed a chair. Pretty darn neat, right?
It was a couple of months ago that I noticed that parts of the bed were making strange noises. Kind of a very unpleasant "KLANG" noise when I would get out of bed. I didn't think much of it--just assumed that parts of the bed were moving around under my weight (which isn't much--I only weigh about 120) and that it was no problem.
Well, I just decided to take a look under the mattress and see what was up. Oh dear. A lot of the metal grating has separated from the frame and is just hanging freely, primarily where I like to sit on the edge of the bed. The metal has pulled away from the sides and bent inwards in several places. I don't think it could even be fixed without a lot of strength and a soldering iron.
